How to Install glirc software package in Debian 9 (Stretch)

glirc software package provides console IRC client, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install glirc

glirc is installed in your system.

Make ensure the glirc package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep glirc *

You will get with glirc package name, version, architecture and description in a table
